Performing Theory

In the age of the Anthropocene, in which ways can we use humour to fight the image pollution and the pollution of nature?

Electric Dreams is a short experimental film and is a part of a series of video works and spatial installations titled ELECTRIC ZOO, in which the paradoxical representations of human interactions and nature in the age of Anthropocene, are investigated. Combining visual poetry with special effects found on the internet and free digital footage of the 'real' animals such as alpacas, giraffes and chickens, as well as imaginary figures like the pegasus, these works are bizarre as much as they are discoursive.
