'The Sound Wall Project' is an installation for which Tatjana was inspired by the city of Eindhoven.
'The Sound Wall Project' consists of:
drawings
collages
ready-mades
film
performance by audience.
All of the art peaces, made in de Overslag during the master class, have a character of a diary entering. They are displayed
on gallery wall on top o which film 'Dear, Eidhoven' was sreaned. A short artistic film 'Dear, Eindhoven', seven minutes long
is also made entirely out of recordings made in the city of Eindhoven during the master class, except of the first minute- a striking footage of a wild dear taken
earlier that year by the artist. After the screening public was invited to respond to 'The Sound Wall'.
Visitors responded overwhelmingly, reading the instructions given by the artist in the drawings- they shouted, spoke, cried, laughed,
clapped, let their mobile phones ring... actively engaged in the art peace, thereby becoming a part of it.
Tatjana's personal artistic vision/goal is:
'To include public in the co-creation or co-completion of my art peace 'The Sound Wall', which is an eclectic installation of drawings, (audio/)video art and
performance, created during the master class; in an effort to experiment without routine and restrictions, engaging in conversations with docents and other
artists, observing the city of Eindhoven and surroundings of Overslag. All of that I have transfigured into the art peace 'The Sound Wall' which challenges the public to stretch our
expected social awareness and patterns.'
'The Sound Wall Project' was realised by Tatjana M. Macic as a part of the 'Sound and Movement' master class.
